FAQ

Global FAQ
Who Can Attend
Are children allowed?

Yes! Of all of our offerings, kids enjoy the Oyster & Clam ShinDIG most. There’s something about spending time at the beach digging in the sand. Due to safety concerns, the minimum age for this event is 13 years old. The beach is filled with sharp oyster shells, so please consider whether this event would be a good fit for your family.

How fit do I need to be to enjoy these experiences?
Most of our experiences are active and require you to be comfortable on your feet for 2-4 hours outdoors. Make sure to review each experience’s descriptions thoroughly to understand the level of physical fitness required.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, no pets allowed.
What to Bring
What should I bring?

Please review each experience’s prep list so that you are ready to rock and roll. Most events will require:

  • Proper footwear (a must!)
  • A small backpack
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Gloves
  • A hat
  • Weather appropriate layers
  • Waterproof outerwear to stay dry

You know what they say – being cold and wet is a self-care problem! 😉

Please leave Fido, cigarettes, drugs, and booze at home.

Ticket Logistics
Can I change the date of my experience?
Space permitting, you can typically change the date of your event up to five days before your event (except for the Gourmet Kayak Expedition where we need 45 days). If you can’t find another date that will work, you can always send someone else in your place.
Cancellations
What is the cancellation policy?
We get it, life happens. We offer cancellation insurance at the time of purchase. This enables you to cancel up to 72 hours prior to your event (with the exception of the Gourmet Kayak Expedition, where we need 60 days’ notice). Otherwise sales are final, so if you can’t make it, feel free to send someone else in your place. Our events are super popular so make sure to book early to avoid FOMO!
What if it rains?
Tours operate light rain or shine. If it’s coming down in buckets or the weather puts safety at risk, we’ll have to cancel and give you a full refund.
Payment

Sorry, all tours must be booked through our website.
Should I tip the guide?
We won’t say no to some extra love – gratuities are always appreciated for a job well done!
