Group Size

We have done events for up to 100 people. Depending on the type of event you’re interested in, we can figure out what will work best for your group’s size.

Customization Options

The world is our oyster! Here are just a few ideas to get you started.

  • Add a mobile cocktail cart to the event for extra adult hydration

Payment Terms

Self-booked private events are due in full at the time of booking online. Events that purchase cancelation insurance have up to 5 days prior to event date to make changes, otherwise they are non-refundable or changeable.

Customized events require a 50% deposit to secure the event. Final balance and headcount are due 14 days prior to the event date. Cancelation insurance is available and is highly recommended. A service fee of 20% is added to all customized private events, which includes gratuity for all staff operating the event.

What to Wear & Bring
  • Dress for the weather. We suggest a rain jacket, hat, gloves, and hiking boots (strongly recommended).
  • Bring a small backpack and water bottle.
Good to Know!
  • Leave Fido, cigarettes, drugs, and booze at home – they’re not invited to this shroom party!
  • Go before you go – there are no restrooms at the trailhead.
  • Mushrooms love rain, and we do too! Our tours operate light rain or shine.
  • Gratuities not required, but they sure do make our day!
Education vs. Mushroom Type/Quantity
  • Education is our first priority with this introductory experience. We’ll equip you with all the skills you need to start a new life-long hobby.
  • We’re not politicians, so we can’t guarantee when, where, or how many mushrooms you’ll find. But with a 95% success rate, we’re pretty darn good at stacking the deck in your favor.
  • Mushrooms come and go with the seasons, so the kinds you’ll find will depend on the time of year. Don’t worry – we’ll show you how to find the good stuff!

What kind of mushrooms will I find?

It all depends on the season! Each mushroom has its own time to shine, so what you’ll find depends on when you visit.

What happens if I don’t find many mushrooms or ones that I like?

Unfortunately, we can’t control Mother Nature, so we aren’t able to offer refunds. In the rare event you don’t find many mushrooms, we’ll still make sure you leave with some goodies to enjoy at home. 

Cancellations
What is the cancellation policy?
  • We get it, life happens. We offer cancellation insurance for $5/ticket at time of purchase. This enables you to cancel up to 72 hours prior to your event. Otherwise sales are final, so if you can’t make it, feel free to send someone else in your place. Our events are super popular so make sure to book early to avoid FOMO!
What if it rains?

Tours operate rain or shine.

How physically demanding is this?

We won’t be scaling Mount Everest, but we will be hiking off-trail for up to a mile. Expect to crouch and stand for up to two hours. Dress comfortably and come prepared to have a blast!

Are restrooms available?

Sorry, no restrooms at the trailhead. Make sure to take care of business beforehand or bring your own supplies if you need to go au naturel!

Where do we meet?

Tours meet at a trailhead in Redmond, WA. We will send you the exact meeting location in the tour confirmation email.

What if I don’t have a car?

Rideshare trips are about $85 each way from downtown Seattle. You can save 75% by hopping on public transit to Redmond Town Center. From there, catch an Uber or Lyft to/from the trailhead for about $23 each way.
